Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Rovanta ("Rovanta," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and software platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Rovanta provides software for flight schools and aircraft management operations. We are based in the United States, and the Service is intended for users located in the United States.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Account information — your name and email address when you create an account.
  • Operational data — information you enter into the Service about your operation, including aircraft, maintenance records, squawks, documents you upload, fuel and oil entries, and closeout/financial records.
  • Contact and demo requests — if you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email, and any other details you choose to provide (such as company, phone number, fleet size, and your message).

Payment information:

  • We use Stripe to process subscription payments. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe and are not stored on our systems. We receive limited billing information from Stripe (such as subscription status) necessary to manage your account. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — we collect information about how you use the Service (such as features accessed and actions taken) to operate, maintain, and improve the platform. This analytics data is maintained within our own systems.
  • Cookies — we use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service, primarily to keep you securely logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • Create and manage your account and process your subscription;
  • Respond to your contact and demo requests;
  • Send you service-related communications, such as account notifications and updates about documents, squawks, and other activity within your organization;
  • Monitor and improve the performance, security, and features of the Service;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How Your Information Is Stored and Protected

Your information — including account, operational, and usage data — is stored using Supabase, our database and infrastructure provider, on servers located in the United States.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls that restrict data access to your own organization. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — with vendors who help us operate the Service, specifically Stripe (payment processing) and Supabase (data hosting and infrastructure). These providers may access your information only to perform services on our behalf.
  • Within your organization — data you enter is accessible to other members of your organization according to their roles and permissions within the Service.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rovanta, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains stored in our systems unless and until you request its deletion, so that you can reactivate or export your records if needed.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at jack@rovanta.com. We will process such requests within a reasonable time, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain information.

6. Your Choices

  • Access and correction — you can access and update your account information and operational data directly within the Service.
  • Deletion — you may request deletion of your data as described in Section 5.
  • Communications — service-related notifications are part of using the Service; where applicable, you can manage notification preferences within your account settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting a notice within the Service or sending an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
